The Lyon County Sheriff’s office is investigating the shooting death of a man that occurred in Silver Springs a little before 5:00 yesterday evening. Deputies were called to the report of the shooting at the Chevron Station at the intersection of 95-A and 50 where an arriving deputy found a man with gunshot wounds. Investigators are currently in the process of gathering witness comments to determine what has happened. There are no suspects in custody and there’s no description of any potential suspect or of the victim.
