More than 9,000 Washoe County residents cast their ballots on the first day of early voting. At several polling places across the county, voters were met with lengthy lines that would be expected on Election Day, not a Saturday two weeks before. People seem to like to choose the day and time to vote, others say their motivation is just to get this over.
