A Nevada Highway Patrol trooper fatally shot a man armed with a shotgun in Carson City. It happened during a confrontation at the Senator Apartment complex Tuesday morning. NHP spokesman Duncan Dauber says the suspect didn’t obey verbal commands from a Carson City sheriff’s deputy and a trooper, and the trooper shot him. No names have been released, Douglas County will investigate the incident. No other injuries are reported.
