The Reno Police Department, with the help of a couple of citizens, arrested a man on two counts of attempted robbery and two counts of attempted burglary. Police say 50-year-old Troy Allen Dittmer went to a check-cashing business in the 2600 block of Warren Way with a stun gun and attempted to rob the employees. The suspect fled before receiving any money. Then a half-hour later there was a report of citizens detaining a robbery suspect in the 300 block of East Plumb Lane. Police arrived to find Dittmer being held down by two people. He was taken into custody without incident.
