Dems Take Control of Nevada Assembly

Control of the Nevada Assembly appears to be going back to the democrats as some Republican incumbents lost seats they’d held in Democratic-majority districts. Democrats took seats from Shelly Shelton, Victoria Seaman, Brent Jones, and Derek Armstrong. Liberatarian John Moore was also defeated. Several democrats held off challengers in Northern Nevada. The contest between incumbent democrat Skip Daly and Republican Jill Dickman was close, with Daly winning by just over 30 votes.
