Two new members of the Sparks City Council will take their Oath of Office today, along with a returning member of the City Council and the Sparks City Attorney. The meeting will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Sparks Council Chambers. Ward 1 Councilman Donald Abbott has been elected to his first term succeeding former councilwoman Julia Ratti. Ward 5 Councilman Kristopher Dahir succeeds Councilman Ron Schmitt. Ward 3 Councilman Ron Smith and City Attorney Chet Adams were re-elected last week.
