The Northern Nevada Muslim Community is rallying Sunday, to say out loud, “I Am America.” It’s part of a national vigil to say, essentially, we all belong here and will work together to uphold democracy, freedom and American values.  In recent days  Trump surrogates and supporters have been promoting the idea of creating a “Muslim Registry” and  using the internment of Japanese during World War II as the model, and they say that has them concerned. The multi-faith gathering will be from 1:30 to 2:30pm at the Northern Nevada Muslim Community Center at 1855 Oddie Blvd in Sparks.
