The Sparks Police Department says a suspect in a robbery at a Kmart store Wednesday has been arrested. Police had released a photograph of a man they said used pepper spray on store employees after stealing items from the Oddie Boulevard store on November 16th. Police say the man picked up several items while inside the store and hid them from view, then left the store without paying for them. Kmart security tried to detain him but he used pepper spray on one of them and ran away. On November 18th, Reno Police officers found a man matching the description of the Kmart robber near the 1300 block of East 4th Street in Reno. 47-year-old Jeff Tatum was arrested and a majority of the stolen items were recovered.
