Mail fraud charges are being pressed against 51-year old Angela Fischer, she’s accused of illegally gaining access to the account of a resident living at Reno Valley Retirement Center. Fischer was an employee of the center at the time. According to the federal complaint Fischer had the victims checks sent directly to her–sometimes at a location where she was vacationing. The man has been diagnosed with dementia, and had agreed to Fischer’s request to handle his finances. The indictment says the incidents happened between November 7, 2014 and June 20, 2016.
