Police are looking for a hit and run driver after an 8 year old girl who was walking in a marked crosswalk on Wells Avenue at the I-80 Eastbound on ramp was hit. The vehicle was traveling southbound on Wells Avenue and turned eastbound onto the I-80 ramp. The vehicle fled the scene immediately after the crash. The victim was transported to Renown with non-life threatening injuries. Witnesses at the scene say the pedestrian walk sign was illuminated.
