Update: No Charges In Walmart Shooting

No charges are expected in the fatal shooting Thanksgiving night in a parking lot at a Walmart on 2nd street.  Police say the incident  looks like self-defense. Police believe 33-year-old Matthew McGraw, who was killed at the scene, may have been armed with a stick or a bat, and hit the shooter’s car before the weapon was fired, in a dispute over being “cut off” in the parking lot. The vehicles and gun have been recovered. Nevada law does not require a concealed-weapons permit for guns kept inside a vehicle. Police say the man who was shot, hit the other mans car several times with a baton, smashing the front windshield and a side window.
