The state Board of Parole Commissioners in the Silver State has decided unanimously to not allow parolees to use recreational marijuana, unless the individual has a prescription for medical marijuana. If parolees are caught in violation, they could find themselves on the fast bus back to prison. The board cited conditions for alcohol use, which is also generally prohibited for parolees.  Recreational marijuana is legal to use in Nevada as of January 1st.
