The Carson City Board of Supervisors say there aren’t going to be any new marijuana dispensaries allowed in the area until regulations for the drug are put in place, and they imposed a moratorium on any new locations until that happens. Recreational marijuana is legal in Nevada in less than a month, but the state has up to 12 months to define the regulations, which include zoning, business licenses, and infrastructure planning. That gives Nevada until December 31st of next year to formulate and implement those policies.
