South Lake Tahoe Police say someone in the area is puncturing tires on cars with ninja road stars, also know as caltrops. Two incidents have been reported since last month, and police think there may be more victims out there. If you find one these stars, or if you see someone put one on the ground, let SLTP know immediately. Unfortunately, they can only charge the suspect in this case with a misdemeanor, if they’re caught.
