Nevada Health Link is inviting Nevada residents to “Get connected” during an enrollment event Thursday. It’s the last day to enroll in or change plans for new coverage to start January 1st. The event offers free healthcare coverage assistance provided by experienced licensed enrollment professionals. It’s noon to 7 p.m. at the Peppermill’s Sorrento Ballroom. Open Enrollment is also an opportunity for residents who currently have Exchange-based health insurance to shop for new plans that might better fit their circumstances and their families’ needs, which could result in a decrease in their average monthly insurance costs.
