Some great news on the Nevada job front. The Silver State is sixth in the nation for job growth, according to the state’s Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation. We’ve had a growth rate of 3.2 percent as of the second quarter of 2016. The only states where jobs are growing faster, are Utah, Idaho, Florida, Oregon and Georgia. The growth is significant because it shows how much we’ve recovered since the recession when growth was measured at -10.1 percent in 2009.
