A wreath will be placed on the grave of every service member at the Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetary in Fernley Saturday, December 17th. All have been crafted by volunteers working the the “Wreath Across America” program. Tom Draughon of the Nevada Veterans Coalition says their mission is not only to remember and honor, but also to teach. He says it’s important for young people to recognize the sacrifices our soldiers make. The ceremony starts at 9am, and about two thousand people are expected to attend.
