Traffic patterns are going to change next week in the Pyrmaid McCarran widening project, with delays and backups expected.  The RTC says traffic will be most effected for drivers traveling southbound from Spanish Springs and into Sparks. The reason for the increase in travel times is that workers are installing barriers between Queen Way and McCarran, creating two dedicated lanes.  You can still get to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, but to do that you’ll need to take Emerson Way to Wedekind Road.
