Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve gave her State of the City Address and said although the city is still recovering from the recession that began in 2008, the city has made tremendous progress.  Schieve says the city has clawed its way back from the recession by embracing both technology and the arts.  The Mayor saved a major announcement for the end of her address, welcoming a new employer to the Biggest Little City.  Zazzle is an e-commerce company that serves Fortune 500 companies such as Disney and Warner Brothers and will be bringing 250 jobs to Reno.
