Former Boulder City Animal Shelter Head Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail

After pleading guilty in October to animal cruelty charges, Mary Jo Frazier, the former head of Boulder City’s animal shelter, was sentenced to 90 days in jail, and four years probation. Frazier admitted needlessly killing dozens of animals, many the same day they arrived at the shelter. A shelter volunteer told police Frazier, “Finds joy in killing animals.”
