The investigation has indicated the text message was actually about a possible threat at McQueen High, and was shared by a Spanish Springs student’s parent who thought it about their child’s school. The McQueen threat is still being investigated, and police have spoken with a student believed to have started the rumor. Spanish Springs High School was on code red lockdown for about two hours.
