Richard West the 2nd, has made a plea deal, that will drop most of the charges against him, in connection with an illegal prescription drug distribution ring. West is pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, and 12 other charges will be dropped. West could face 20 years at sentencing, a lesser sentence may be more likely. He’s been in jail since last April. Sentencing is set for May. Eight others have been arrested in the case including a local doctor.
