The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting, state agencies knew Robert Reasoner of Reno had been arrested several times for DUI, and still he was promoted at the Nevada Transportation Authority. Washoe County Sheriffs reports show arresting officers notified the state attorney generals office after a 2006 arrest, and a deputy notified the Transportation Authority after a 2011 DUI. Andre MacKay who was NTA chairman at that time says he was not told, and says he was shocked when he read it in the paper. Reasoner was put on administrative leave January 6th after leaving the scene of an accident in Carson City.
