A mudslide closed westbound Interstate 80 at the California state line last night, it was reopened around 3:30 Thursday morning. The mudslide trapped three vehicles, but no one was injured. Caltrans worked through the night with scooper loaders and dump trucks to reopen the roadway. Eastbound traffic was not affected.
