The Progressive Urban Management Associates or P.U.M.A, spent the past 8 months studying the downtown corridor and coming up with a plan to turn Reno into a safe, vibrant place to be. They presented their findings to the Reno City Council yesterday. Brad Segal, President of PUMA, says the council needs to provide incentives to support housing for all income levels. The plan also suggests investing in amenities like a downtown grocery store and installing a dog park on the ReTrac Plaza. The council hopes to approve a final plan by April 12th.
