Flooding across Northern Nevada is causing delays in railroad operations. Several Union Pacific Railroad tracks are out of service between California and Winnemucca, and from Elko to Ogden, Utah due to sections being washed away from the high water. Trains are being rerouted between Roseville, Calif and Salt Lake City, and shipments from out of state via rail may take an extra 2 to three days to get to the Truckee Meadows because of the flood impacts.
