The Reno City Council held interviews with four final candidates for Reno city manager Tuesday. Acting City Manager Bill Thomas did not apply and was not one of the finalists. The four finalists have been narrowed to just two, Sabra Newby and Mark Scott, with a final decision to be made later. The public will have the opportunity to engage with Newby and Scott during a meet and greet at McKinley Arts and Culture Center, Tuesday, March 7th at 5:30 p.m. Newby and Scott will be interviewed again by the council during a special meeting Wednesday, March 8th at 10 a.m. Sabra Newby is the Assistant Clark County Manager, Mark Scott is the City Manager of San Bernardino on a month to month contract.
