A call about an armed robbery quickly escalated to an officer involved shooting after the suspect led Reno police on a foot chase through downtown Thursday.  The suspect ran from the area of Commercial and West, with a gun in hand, and into the El Dorado Casino around 11:30am. Officers confronted the man on the second floor near the coffee stand, telling him to drop his weapon. He refused, and was fatally shot by police.  No bystanders or officers were hurt in the incident. Investigators want anyone who witnessed either the robbery or the shooting to leave tips with secret witness at 322-4900
