Reno Police are investigating a car-versus-pedestrian crash in Stead last night. Police say shortly before 7 o’clock, a driver hit a man who was in a crosswalk at the intersection of Stead Boulevard and Ural Street. The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with police, who say the driver may not have seen the pedestrian. Alcohol is not suspected. The victim was taken to a hospital; no information has been released regarding his condition. The roadway was closed for a few hours during the investigation.
