Reno PD is investigation a shooting that took place just after 8:30 on Friday night, on Smithridge Drive, just south of Peckham Lane. Police responded to the area after reports of shots fired and found an injured person who later died. They later found a second person with non-life threatening injuries. Witnesses saw a dark passenger car drive away on Filbert Road immediately after the shooting. They also described other vehicles that were in the area before, during and after the shooting. The gang unit is investigating the shooting. Secret Witness is offering a $2,500 reward for information.
