Mt. Rose Extends Their Season

Thanks to a series of strong winter storms that have moved through the Lake Tahoe region, one after another this season, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe announced it has officially extended its season and will remain open through Memorial Day, May 29th. Mt Rose has the most snow this winter of any resort, according to “Ski-dot-com,” 650 inches have already stacked up so far this season. The National Weather Service forecast calls for another winter storm system to move through the over the coming weekend. Mike Pierce, director of marketing at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe says they have “Supreme skiing conditions.”
