A Reno man convicted of numerous counts of Lewdness with a Minor, and Sexual Assault of a Child has been sentenced to 39 life sentences. Washoe County D-A Chris Hicks says it’s one of the largest child sexual abuse trials ever tried in Washoe County. 47-year-old Valentin Anthony Corrales was found guilty by a jury of 39 counts, and had sexually abused four victims over a 25 year span.  At sentencing, Washoe District Judge Elliott Sattler ordered that the sentences serve consecutively. He is not eligible for parole. Hicks called the sentence “Severe and just,” and called Coralles’s crimes, “Atrocities.” Coralles “groomed” single moms, to get access to their children.
