Subscription solar, is an idea NV Energy is pitching to the state Public Utilities Commission. They call it a renewable energy program that is an alternative to rooftop solar. Customers would be able to subscribe to a 100 killowatt hour block of solar energy, generated at one of the company’s industrial grade solar facilities. It means getting 100 percent of your energy from solar, with putting panels on your roof.
