Truckee Meadows Community College is taking a hard look at opiate addiction in the US, and locally, with a presentation on campus this week. The “Expert Panel on the Opioid Crisis in America” will have experts on hand discussing substance abuse, treatment options, and health care related costs. The presentation, hosted by the TMCC Library Committee, is March 16 on the Dandini campus, from 2pm until 4pm in the Sierra Building, room 108. The event is free to the public, and pre-registration is not required.
