A man brought what is believed to be a hand grenade into the Carson City Sheriff’s Office on Musser Street this afternoon, March 14,  forcing the sheriff’s office to close, and call in the bomb squad from Douglas County. The area around the office has been cordoned off while they deal with this. The office was expected to reopen by 6pm Tuesday.
