Looks like investigators may have their man. DNA tests connect 74 year old John Aston of Reno, to threats made against Carson City Judge John Tatro. Aston has been a person of interest in the case for weeks, pending DNA results. The threats against the judge date back to 2012, and include a shot fired through the front door, a threatening card sent to the judge and his wife, and even a botched firebombing attempt.  The exact motive behind the threats isn’t clear, but Aston appeared before the judge for a speeding ticket in 2005, and a concealed weapons charge in 2011.
