Dems Continue To Dog Laxalt Over Ethics, Adelson

The Nevada State Democratic Party has filed five new public records requests  for communications within the Attorney General’s office and the Gaming Control Board,  after they became aware that a recording existed of a conversation last year between Attorney General Adam Laxalt and Gaming Control Board Chairman A.G. Burnett. In April 2016, they say Laxalt tried to pressure Burnett to intercede in a lawsuit on behalf of Sheldon Adelson,  Laxalt’s largest campaign donor. The unusual meeting prompted Burnett to secretly record his conversation with Laxalt and then turn over the tape to the FBI.
