Congressman Mark Amodei’s path to re-election, in the second congressional district, may have gotten a lot more complicated. Former State Legislator Sharron Angle says she will challenge Amodei in the Primary. This wouldn’t be the first time the two have shared a ballot. Angle beat Amodei in 2010, and took on Sen Harry Reid is a race she would ultimately lose. Angle is apparently running as a full on Trump supporter, and says in an online statement she’s running against “Republican betrayal,” saying Nevada republicans ignored a mandate two years ago in the state legislature, and that they’re in danger of losing a golden opportunity in Washington, Angle says the President can lead but he can’t do it alone. Amodei has been critical of the Trump/Ryan health care bill, saying so far he’s a “No” vote. The Congressional Budget Office says the bill will lead to millions of Americans losing health coverage.
