Offenhauser House Fire

The Reno Fire Department is investigating the cause of a house fire that started early Tuesday morning.

Fire crews say the fire started at a home on Drive around 4:38 a.m. on March 21, 2017.

They say the fire was confined to a room in a two-story home and only the homeowner was in the residence at the time.

Crews say they were able to knock the fire down quickly. The fire left minor damages to the second floor and minor smoke damage throughout the home.

The homeowner was treated for smoke inhalation on scene by REMSA. Two dogs who were also in the home at the time of the fire were not injured.
