The owner of Reno’s first Chick-fil-A chicken restaurant franchise says he hopes to open in late spring or summer of 2017. The location on South McCarran just west of South Virginia, where Marie Callendar’s restaurant used to be, will need about 100 employees. The franchise, which was started in 1946, has about 2,000 locations, mostly in the southern United States.
