The Nevada Gaming Control Board says revenue from Nevada casinos was down nearly 4.5% in February compared with February of 2016. The board announced Tuesday that casinos won $945.6 million from gamblers last month. Substantially more than 57% of that, $542 million, was on the Las Vegas Strip, where winnings declined 5% from February 2016 to February of this year. Winnings at casinos in downtown Las Vegas were up 2.2%. Meantime, winnings were down in Reno by 6.7% to $45 million. Winnings were down 6.9% on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe to $15 million.
