A Sparks woman faces nearly two dozen charges for burglary and related crimes, as part of an ongoing investigation into a series of vehicle burglaries. 36 year old Charlotte Marie Hodges, was arrested February 16th for burglary and attempted burglary. Since then many more charges have since been filed. Hodges is a suspect in burglaries in Truckee, Carson City and Douglas County. Washoe County investigators believe Hodges also took items left inside residential mailboxes, a federal crime, and she faces three charges related to the use of a credit or debit card without consent. Sheriff’s investigators currently have an active warrant out for 29 year old Rachelle Erwin, of Reno, the second suspect in this investigation. Most of the burglaries currently under investigation involved vehicles that were left unlocked.
