Man Found Tied up in His Home, Suspect Being Sought

South Lake Tahoe police are on the look out for a stolen station wagon after the vehicle’s owner was found bound and gagged inside his apartment Wednesday. A co worker of the tied up man called police because the 43 year old hadn’t showed up for work, and when the co worker went the apartment to check on him, they could see a significant amount of blood inside the dwelling. Investigators say the man could have been tied up for at least 20 hours or more. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries, and is in stable condition. Now, police are looking for his car, a blue and grey 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback, with a California license plate 7-W-F-M-3-8-7. SLTP says there’s no threat to public, as the victim and suspect likely knew each other.
