The Nevada Department of Transportation wants drivers to prepare for some potential tie ups near Spooner junction in south Carson starting today, as workers begin construction to connect US 50 and South Carson Street.  Traffic will likely be reduced to one lane periodically, causing delays, and the dedicated right turn lane heading to Spooner Summit from South Carson Street will be torn down.
