School District Looking For Input on Future Projects

Work is underway at Damonte Ranch High School, and Washoe County School District officials are thinking ahead to the next three high schools they need to build. But before the blueprints can be put together, the district wants to get community input. They’re creating the “High School Educational Specification Community Design Team,” which is now accepting applications. The team will define the specific facility needs, space requirements, relationships, and characteristics for the new high schools and will be used by designers to develop design concepts for the new campuses. They need about 40 members. If you’re interested send a letter to WCSD BuildingHere’s the link for info on the committee & how to apply (hint: very short letter of interest) http://www.washoeschools.net/Page/6389 by April 14th at 5PM.
