Washoe County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested an 18 year old man and three juveniles for a residential burglary that happened  Wednesday morning in Spanish Springs.  A neighbor saw some suspicious people leaving  Canary Court, and a broken window at one of the residences. Neighbors also provided suspect descriptions. A Raven helicopter search followed, then about  4:00 p.m. that afternoon, a deputy on patrol in Sun Valley caught four people smoking marijuana near the Sun Valley Community Center, and discovered that the suspects were in possession of items stolen during the Canary Court burglary. Deputies arrested Edwin Mendoza for a variety of charges including Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
