Plumb Lane’s dedicated left turn lane onto I580N/395 is temporarily shut down so the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County can work on an expansion at the RTC lot under the freeway. It’s because the electric and diesel buses are a lot bigger than the buses that were built in the 80’s, and RTC’s Joe Harrington says they can’t do any work on them, until they knock out some walls and reconstruct the station.  The turn lane should reopen in a couple of weeks. RTC recommends taking Mill or Moana as an alternate route, if you need to get on I580N/395.
