It’s springtime in the Northern Nevada, and it’s time for bears to come out of hibernation. Take precautions around your home, and be bear aware.  You may have seen some of the videos circulating on social media recently, of bears coming out from under decks and houses in the Lake Tahoe area, much to the shock of the homeowners.  Chris Healy from the Nevada Department of Wildlife  recommends using that your dog door insert, so wild animals can’t get in your house. Clean any old food, and food wrappers, out from your car because a bear can do thousands of dollars of damage to your vehicle in a very short amount of time. And never leave pet food outside.
