Late Season Storm Hitting Northern Nevada and California

The National Weather Service Reno says a late season storm will stick around through Saturday morning.  That means keep your flood mitigation plans in place. The Truckee and Carson Rivers are going to be rising rapidly, and the surrounding soil is so saturated that a lot of runoff is expected.  Temperatures are sinking to the upper 20’s overnight Sunday and Monday, after the storm passes, so get your garden and fruit trees ready.
