Dayton, Nevada- A 39 year old man has been shot to death. Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Dayton Valley Road about 11:15 Monday night, and found the man with two gunshot wounds. He was taken by Care Flight to Renown Medical Center where he later died fom his injuries. A 49-year-old suspect, Roger Scheurn  was arrested then taken to Carson-Tahoe Hospital for facial wounds.  This appears to be an isolated incident, and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office wants assure the public there is no threat to the community.
